Agent Academy: How To Create Come List Me Calls
When do you stop having to grind out business and start having business flow to you? That is what I am going to take you through today.
There are two sides to your business, High Effort, and Assets.
When you see a big agent doing high GCI and able to spend a lot of money in their marketing, you may be wondering how did they get there? It starts with high effort but then transitions to assets.
At the beginning of your Real Estate business, you will spend a lot of time putting in high effort for your business such as door knocking, open houses, calling, and etc.
However, most agents keep doing these high effort activities and never transition any money over to grow their assets for the business.
You need to do it differently! When commissions are being generated from high effort activities you need to put a portion of that to your assets.
When funding an asset (Lead Generation System) you are protecting yourself when the market shifts.
However, there are other assets you can use to grow your business, past client events, funding a relocation system, program for lead generation, or some type of program that no one else has.
When I was making money from the high effort activities part of that money went to my lifestyle, taxes, and my farm (asset). For any asset that you choose you to fund it through your high effort activities.
When you are pouring money into growing your farm you become the neighborhood expert.
Having farming as an asset when we are in a turning market people are looking for the experts in the neighborhood and seeking out who gets stuff done. So when your past clients neighbor is selling their home who do you think they are going to go to?
They are going to choose you because the clients are running towards quality. And if you wait until after the market is shifting it will be too late to come in and compete with the neighborhood experts that have been farming.
Now is the time to go fund that asset!
The main thing you need to remember is to first pour effort into something and make some money. Then you need to use some of that money to start building assets to grow your business. That way you are positioned for success!
