Agent Academy: Retargeting to Get More Out of Your Database
On episode 23 of Agent Academy, we are going to talk about Retargeting. How can you implement it immediately and get more out of your Database?
Retargeting and Remarketing are often confused. We spoke last week about Remarketing. Remarketing is about marketing to people that have not yet contacted you.
Retargeting is about continually staying in front of the people that have contacted you already.
You can Retarget anyone in your Database, all you need is their email.
The two primary platforms for Retargeting would be Facebook and Google Ad words.
Some examples of Retargeting your Database include:
- Expired Listings
- You can Retarget them with an expired listing message or a differentiator for your team. You know their pain points and can better message to them.
- Set Appointments
- If you have an appointment set for a couple days later, you can Retarget them. Showing them ads such as customer testimonials or things that make you a superior agent. By the time the client gets to the appointment you already have an advantage over any other agent.
- Appointment Held
- Held the appointment already, but they still need to decide. For those folks, from the moment they leave the appointment, you can be Retargeting them with specific ads that show them you are the superior agent.
- Past Clients
- You can have ads for special past client parties and have past clients be the only people seeing those ads. You could be reminding them to refer you or just confirming the great experience they had with you.
- Farming
- If you held an open house or are farming an area you can, Retarget those specific people with ads for just their neighborhood. Knowledge of their neighborhood, or success stories and recent sells in their neighborhood.
These ads could be either an image, video or just text ads because you are using a social media platform.
Again, Retargeting is specific to the people whose information you already have and you know their specific situation. You are trying to help them through the conversion cycle or spark referrals.
