Agent Academy: Tip to Improve Your Listing Presentations
On episode 33 of Agent Academy, I am going to share a tip that will instantly make your presentation better. This tip will change the way your presentations feel at your next listing or buyer presentation.
When we are presenting, we think of the present as being directly in front of us. The future is to the right of us, with the past being to the left.
But, the future that is my right is your left! Your buyer or seller is seeing it from their perspective as well and see your future motion as their past.
You are motioning right when you are talking about what you are going to do in a listing presentation and what you are going to do to sell their home. This is their left, and subconsciously their brain is short-circuiting a little bit.
There will probably be a moment when they cannot focus on exactly what you are saying because they feel like something is wrong.
We must adapt to what they are seeing. We need to learn to move what we are doing to the left and the past to the right, so it feels correct for the viewer.
Remember this tip on your next presentation and practice it, do it in the mirror a couple of times, so it becomes second nature.
