Agent Academy: How We Recruit The Best Agents To Our Team
Sending a survey to people after a sale is something we do here at eXp Beer Home Team. However, did you know a similar survey could help you with recruiting the best talent to your team?
On previous videos, we discussed having an after sale questionnaire with your buyers and sellers. This way, you know who you could have repeat business in the future.
My question is, do you also send a post-closing survey to the cooperating agent that you do business with? If not, I suggest that you start doing so.
Here’s a sample of what we ask the agent.
Hi, [Agent].
We’ve enjoyed doing business with you and it is important for us to always be improving. How likely are you to look forward to doing business with the Beer Home Team again in the future?
We receive responses on this simple survey question. Sometimes the answer is very simple like “Very likely, thank you!”. And sometimes respondents are more elaborate. These are the people you immediately want to focus on.
Here’s what you can do, look them up in MLS!
Look for them in the market you are in or in a system that will tell you what that person production looks like.
You are probably asking, why would I do that?
Here’s why — once, we found out that this agent sold around 20 or more transactions per year. We knew that we could help him grow his business. Also, we’ve already done business with him so we know how he works!
Another good thing about the survey is we know the agent enjoys working with us. If we see that the agent has closed fewer transactions than our agents have per year, we then know that we can help that agent through our platform to elevate his business!
That’s it! It’s a very simple strategy. I hope you’ll take my recommendation to do a post-closing survey. Not only to your buyers and seller but also with the other agents.
Use this survey to improve your business and to know the people who have a positive image of your company. Research the agent’s production and see if your platform will work best for them.
Make that call. They might be your next real estate partner!
