There are two kinds of people you are running your marketing message at
1. The 5% who are in the consideration phase. A buying or selling conversation with them is relevant. They’re ready to do something soon.
2. The 95% who are in the indifferent phase. A conversation about buying or selling is irrelevant to them. Here’s the problem, when you run a constant, one size fits all message at them you drive them to the annoyed phase.
Most agents are making the mistake of running a buy/sell message at the wrong people…the largest population, the indifferent.
This in turn pushes the consumer away, increases their sales skepticism which must be overcome, and impacts the dollars an agent must spend in marketing…
Keep it simple and consistent.
Educate, Inform and deliver you’re messaging across multiple channels and platforms.
