On this episode of Agent Academy, I want to find out what is holding you back from selling homes.
How much stress do you experience in your real estate business? Would you like to have a way of getting rid of it?
I have gone through the same experiences, and it bogged me down for years!
I would go through so much stress and anxiety in my real estate business that around 11 am I would have to go home and just lay there for the rest of the day.
I was done! I couldn’t continue functioning, and I would need this recharge to continue my day.
But why?
What I believe gets us to this point is procrastination!
We put off dealing with the big things that bog us down. Conversations such as; Letting that Seller know they are way overpriced. A tough conversation with an Agent letting them know their deal might not happen. Maybe a discussion with a Team Member that isn’t working out and would be better off working somewhere else.
Those heavy conversations that we let sit and heavily way on us, they all turn into stress and anxiety.
One of my Agents recently went through the same situation, and instead of blaming It on the workload we dug deep and peeled the layers back to find out that he had been avoiding those heavy conversations with clients.
Not only was he carrying the weight of it all but eventually it was going to fall, and he would have to deal with it.
This leads to angry phone calls, angry messages, bad conversations, and a lot of negativity.
What can you do right now to relieve the stress?
What phone call could you make? Even if it means losing a listing, really what will you lose? Clearly, the listing needs a change, and if you don’t make it, it won’t sell anyways. If you ask for the change and they fire you, then it will free your mind to go to a more productive place.
