Agent Academy: Open House Challenge
Last week we talked about how you must differentiate yourself to stand out. You need to be different from everyone else but also different from yourself!
This week I am going to challenge you to go out there and do things differently.
If you are hosting an Open House, I want you to go out there and make it different than you ever have before. Bigger, Bolder, Better!
What are you going to do differently? Are you going to:
- Knock on doors during the course of the week?
- Send invitations?
- Slide Dial? Slide Broadcast?
- Invite the neighbors? Or have a neighbor’s pre-Open House?
What are you going to do to differentiate? So many people are playing by rules that do not exist.
- How many signs are you going to have out?
- What time will you have them out?
What are you going to do to make this the best Open House you ever had? Are you going to use the practices that I have shared with you?
Will you let people just walk in and explore the house without a sign-in? Or will you use the script I have shared with you? Ask them if they have an appointment, throw them off a little, then give them the opportunity to sign in.
- Will you produce a script of your own?
- Are you going to have someone at the door greeting people, while you tour others around?
- Will you have food? (If they are coming just for food they are not home buyers)
Over the course of the next week go out there and plan a mega Open House.
Up your game, up your signage, your scripts, and your process pre-Open House.
A successful Open House is a predetermined result, that you have executed over the week to get your listing fully market exposed and drive traffic.
Create a process for your Open House and create a process for your lead follow-up. Find your unique voice so people feel different when they are at your Open House.
